About me
I was trained as a hydrologist in the UK (University of Nottingham and the London School of Economics) and have worked as a water resources consultant and water conservation specialist in California and around the world. My main area of interest is in the sustainability of water resources - their quantity, quality and reliability - at a variety of scales and development levels from the less-developed nations to CA cities - and I teach senior classes on water resources and management, watershed management and sustainable development at CSU East Bay. I have worked on projects in California, Israel, Honduras, Australia, and Kenya; principally in water-short areas where sustainability is a key issue.
