About me
Specializing in ocean & coastal law and policy, I earned my law degree from Vermont Law and did my undergraduate work at the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources & the Environment. My former research projects include best practices for wetlands restoration and aquaculture regulation in the US. Former positions include the Sea Grant, CA Coastal Commission, the Ocean Conservancy, MI Department of Natural Resources and the VT Environmental and Natural Resources Law Clinic. Current work includes linking water quality research to water board regulations and policy decisions, as well as using research results to form CA State Park "Best Practices" guidelines in relation to human access planning. Additionally, we are working to continue MPA monitoring and analysis through the CA Collaborative Fisheries Research Program.
