Krista Kamer
About me
I am trained as a marine ecologist and conducted research in southern California estuaries, coastal lagoons and watersheds for 10 years. For the last 5 years I have helped manage several different ocean observing programs in California, CICORE and COCMP. I am now the Program Coordinator for the CSU Council on Ocean Affairs, Science and Technology (COAST), a system-wide initiative to integrate the marine resources of the CSU, including faculty, equipment, facilities and cyber-infrastructure, to promote interdisciplinary multi-campus collaborations and enhance student educational opportunities.
I work remotely for SFSU and live in Merced CA.
